Many children do not speak more than 3-4 words.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seizures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specific behaviour with excitability and inappropriate laughter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Movement and balance problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wide based ataxic gait.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sleep disorder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Less commonly there is hypopigmentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Physical Signs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Microcephaly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jerky gait<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased muscle tone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Down-turned corners of the mouth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wide mouth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep set eyes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prominent chin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hypotonia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Happy and sociable affect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Complications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Almost all patients develop seizures.
